What a day!  We spent the day traveling down into the Ngorongoro Crater and doing a 1-day safari.  The weather was cold, windy and cloudy at the rim of the crater but as we descended the 600 meters down, it got sunnier and warmer.  We immediately started to see wildlife and it was a day filled with so many different types of animals or birds, it was truly wonderful.

There’s no better way to describe our day than with some pictures.  So, here they are!

Youth!

It was a wonderful day that demonstrated the beauty of God’s creation.  Tomorrow we meet up with the MGLSS team!  It will be great to join together in our last church visits, hear each other’s stories, and enjoy a 2-day safari in Tarangire National Park.   We do have 1 person still sick and did not really participate much in the safari yesterday and had a bad night as well.  So, please continue to pray for the health of our group.  Asante sana (thank you very much)!

Kwa heri,

Matt Pohle, on behalf of the 2016 Cross of Christ Mission Rural Team
