Do you miss the smell of freshly-sharpened pencils? Does the thought of rows of crayon boxes make your heart happy? Or do you just want to know that your next trip to Target can make a big difference in the life of a child?
Congregations for Kids is once again holding its annual Good Start Back to School Drive! Their goal is to fill a bus with supplies that low-income students in Bellevue need to be successful in school this year, but they need YOUR help! They’re specifically looking for cash donations (checks should be made out to Cross of Christ and clearly marked “back to school”) or supplies from the list found here (no gift cards, please). Please bring them to church and leave them in the marked box in the lobby before August 13th.
While all of the above can be found at almost any discount, drug, or office supply store, if you want to get the most out of your dollar and don’t mind chasing down a deal, you might want to chase down some of the great sales this week (7/23-7/29).
