CHILDREN’S FAITH FORMATION/SUNDAY SCHOOL – for kids ages 3 through 3rd grade!  This month we’re studying the Fruit of the Spirit.  We’ll meet in the Youth Room starting about 10 minutes after the first service and finishing at 10:50.  We hope to see you there!

TO ALL WHO KNEW AND LOVED KEN NELSON – I want to thank you for the flowers, calls, cards, and food that you provided.  It meant a lot to our family.  A big thank you to Pastor Dave for being with us when Ken passed.  Thanks to Pastor Adrienne for being at Ken’s inurnment, the service was really nice.  Thanks and love to all from Wanda Nelson and family.

THE CROSS OF CHRIST YOUTH ARE AT IT AGAIN! – Please help us as we collect food and donations for the “Souper Bowl of Caring,” a national organization that mobilizes youth to address hunger in their communities. 100% of your donations will support food distribution programs at Hopelink here in Bellevue.  We’ll be collecting food and donations today.

AND MORE THANKS FOR ANOTHER MEALto everyone who provided food for the meal served at the Family Winter Shelter at St. Peter United Methodist Church on January 21. It was very rewarding to hear “thank-you” from the folks as they received their plates of delicious food. THE SOPHIA WAY – needs breakfast and lunch foods for the weekends such as: yogurt, cottage cheese, and string cheese; items to make sandwiches like  bread, cheese, sandwich meats, canned tuna, canned chicken; as well as canned soups. Drop off at Day Center between 12:30 and 2pm.  There is also an Amazon Wish List on the Sophia Way website for additional items that are needed.  Find Wish List under “Get Involved” then “Make a Donation” then “Amazon Wish List” at www.Sophiaway.org . Thank you for your support to assist homeless women on their journey to independence.

THE LARKS – are planning a Skagit Valley Tulip Tour on Thursday, April 14.  The tour will leave from Cross of Christ at 8:30 am and return at approximately 6 pm.  The cost of tour is $70 per person, a lunch BBQ is available for an additional $8 – $15.  A sign-up sheet is available at the Information Desk in the Narthex.  For more information contact Heidi Fine at 425 885 6750 or email finealso@comcast.net .

SOUP SUPPERS –February 17 through March 16 a soup supper will be served at 6 pm each Wednesday in the Fellowship Hall. A mid-week Lenten service will follow at 7 pm in the Sanctuary.  If you would like to bring a pot of soup or help with the supper on March 9 please contact Sharen Stoll at Bellevuesharen@yahoo.com or 425-484-7078.
