On January 14-15, 2018, three YD students, Pastor Dave, and Youth Programs Coordinator Kristie shared a retreat experience that was equal parts fun, learning, and service. What did they learn? Clockwise, from upper left:
- A little bit of work for one person can make an enormous difference to a lot of people
- Sometimes Apples to Apples and theology intersect
- Pastor Dave dances when he’s feeling goofy
- You can indeed fit three teens on the rock outside the church front doors
- Fancy bottled water is still just water when you’ve been working hard
- A labyrinth is not the same as a maze
- Scavenger hunts are good for finding out that there are 40 pews in the sanctuary
- Fitted sheets are hard to fold
- We can serve God by serving others!
