ICYMI Worship, 9/15/2019: Eureka!

He is the friend of the outcast.  He is the valuer of those who have been made to feel worthless. He is the lover of the one who others call unlovely, unlovable.  He is the Great Physician who had the cure for the sin sick. He is the Savior who lived and died motivated by Unconditional Love and Amazing Grace – how sweet the sound, that saved a wanderer like me.  I once was lost, but now I’m found.  Eureka!  I’m found.  I’m free.

Thanks be to God.  Amen.

ICYMI Worship, 9/8/2019: The Cost of Discipleship

“We are saved by grace through faith alone in the work of Jesus Christ.  Period.  End of story.  Our standing before God, our relationship with God, is pure gift, pure grace.  It costs us nothing to receive this gift – although it cost Christ so very much.  We don’t have to – and we cannot – do anything to earn God’s grace, merit God’s mercy, or deserve God’s love.  That’s a settled deal. “
