What is YD?
Youth Discipleship (YD) is our Confirmation program for middle school-aged youth. It’s generally three years, with youth starting in the 6th or 7th grade and finishing in the 8th or 9th grade. The program is a mix of monthly Monday night classes, retreats, service projects, and fun, with the idea that students are ready to affirm their Baptism by the time they complete their third year.
